The founder Manfred Sauer

The Manfred-Sauer-Foundation wants to contribute - in every aspect - towards a positive interaction between people with physical impairments and the so called 'able bodied'. The foundation offers the opportunity for reflection, orientation and the exchange of ideas and would like to guide you towards a more healthy life style. Even though paraplegics are the main focus of the foundation, it offers its services to everyone looking for a meaningful life.

Because of his own experience as a paraplegic since his accident in 1963, the founder Manfred Sauer decided upon this idea for his foundation. His own destiny inspired him to pass on his knowledge of how to actively take charge of one's own life despite of a disability.
