The Ludwig-Guttmann-Sports Hall of the Manfred Sauer Foundation
The sports hall consists of two halls. The larger hall 15 × 28 m with its extensive equipment is one of the most modern barrier-free sports halls in Europe.
The basketball and badminton courts comply with international competition regulations. An additional training hall with 25 ×12 m offers space for archery, table tennis, fencing, dancing and much more.
Each of the 4 changing rooms is designed for a maximum of 20 people and offers space for a second wheelchair. They are each equipped with a shared shower, WC/shower and upholstered benches.
Everything is under one "roof", so that the sports halls can be reached via the underground car park as well as from the hotel or restaurant. The different levels are connected by an elevator for a maximum of 12 wheelchairs.
